Using the planner without contact information

Your planner choices are stored in your own browser (local storage) so your work survives a refresh. They are not sent to us unless you save the project by email or request help. You can remove them with “Remove from this browser” in the planner or by clearing site data.

Saved projects

When you save a project, we store your email address, the optional project and organization names, your planner configuration, the resulting planning range, and the pricing-model version. We create a private link containing a random token; we store only a one-way hash of that token, so we cannot recreate your link. Anyone with the link can open and edit the project, so share it carefully. Saving a project does not sign you up for marketing email.

Help requests

If you request help with next steps, we store the details you enter and the three permissions you choose separately: permission for us to contact you (required), permission to share your project details with independent professionals (optional), and permission to send occasional planning updates (optional). We record which version of this wording you agreed to. We do not share a request with any third party unless you granted referral permission.

Children’s information

The planner is for project-level planning. It never asks for children’s names, ages, medical information, or disability information, and you should not enter any in free-text fields.

Analytics

We record anonymous events such as “results displayed” or “surfacing selected” with the page path and a short label. These events contain no names, email addresses, phone numbers, organization names, free text, or project links, and no cookies or identifiers are set.

We also use Google Analytics to see which pages and planner steps people use, so we can improve the site. It sets first-party cookies and receives your IP address, browser details, and the pages you view. Google signals and ad personalization are off, and we never send names, emails, phone numbers, addresses, project descriptions, or project links. You can opt out with Google’s opt-out browser add-on (opens in a new tab) or by blocking cookies.

Security and abuse prevention

To limit abuse, we keep a salted hash of the connecting IP address for up to 24 hours; the IP address itself is not stored.

Retention

Saved projects remain until you archive or delete them, or until we remove inactive projects as part of periodic cleanup. Help requests are kept while we work on them and for a reasonable period afterward for record-keeping. Ask us at any time to delete your data.

Your choices

  • Delete a saved project: open your private link, go to Results, and choose “Delete saved project”.
  • Stop planning updates: use the email preferences page.
  • Access or delete other data: email [email protected].
